Simply and reliably detect pork DNA in food and feed samples by real-time PCR with the RapidFinder Halal ID Kit. Unlike ELISA-based methods which can be less suitable for processed food, when used with the GMO Extraction Kit (Order code: 4466336) for sample preparation, the RapidFinder Halal ID Kit detects both raw and processed DNA and provides a sensitivity down to 0.0005% pork DNA. The included positive control, which comprises 0.1% of pork DNA, can be used as a reference to set the threshold of detection of the assay.
