To further streamline your testing process, the SureTect™ assay is compatible with the Applied Biosystems™ 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR System or Applied Biosystems™ QuantStudio™ 5 Food Safety Real-Time PCR System. These systems offer high-performance capabilities and are designed specifically for food safety applications.

The new SureTect Flex Assay incorporates color-coded plastics with orientation markings and breakable strip format, colored reagents and pierceable seals to enable an optimized workflow for maximum laboratory efficiency and productivity.
For 375-g raw ground turkey samples and primary production samples, enriched samples undergo selective capture and concentration of Salmonella, using Dynabeads™ anti-Salmonella and automated immunomagnetic separation with the KingFisher™ Flex Purification System with 96 Deep-Well Head. The purified samples are eluted directly into Lysis Reagent 1 and Proteinase K for lysis. Lysates are transferred to the Salmonella Multiplex (SP/SE/ST) PCR Tubes to rehydrate the lyophilized PCR pellet. The PCR tubes are sealed, loaded into the real-time PCR instrument, and the run is started using the RapidFinder™ software.
